Worry is negative meditation
I recently found myself talking to several people who were worried about some circumstance in their life, either financial, career, possibilities for the future, university, marriage, children….you name it and we worry about it.
What we don’t seem to realize is that worrying is negative meditation. It has a negative and sometimes detrimental effect on our health and well being. Worrying can cause many ailments and upset our natural equilibrium. Our state of mind is very important to our health and if we constantly worry about things that may not be in our power to control, or situations that haven’t happened yet, it can start to take a toll on our bodies. Whatever is not in our power to change, let it go. Whatever hasn’t happened yet, let it go! Worrying simply makes one miserable. Accept at this time that the situation is what it is and let it go!
If you believe in the law of attraction, it is then correct to say that worrying about a specific problem or issue simply attracts more of what you are worrying about and ultimately attracting more negative energy. Worrying is negative meditation!
You have nothing to lose by thinking positive and envisioning a better situation, therefore freeing your mind of negative thoughts. We must always remember “we” control our mind and thoughts. Do not let your thoughts control you. You have the power to change any negative thought to a positive thought as easily as you change your television channel. This takes practice and strength, however is attainable. Once you master this skill of “Not Worrying” you live a more peaceful and healthy life.
